Friends of Aristotle Recreation
FOAR consists of a number of enthusiastic local community minded volunteers who want to help to make Aristotle lane a destination point for local children and adults for recreation and relaxation. It is a vibrant community space and it is FOAR’s ambition to keep it a green and pleasant land!
Most of FOAR’s activity is focused around maintaining the grounds and borders. Of particular importance are the working parties that are held each month to help maintain the grounds and the liaison it has with the City Council Parks and local City and County Councillors.
The working parties meet at Aristotle Lane ground usually on the first Saturday of the month at 9:30am. The Committee meets regularly (usually every other month) at the Anchor Pub, Hayfield Road. These events will be confirmed either here on the website or with a note on the St Margaret’s Institute and the Canal Walk notice boards
